  2. Respected Sir,
    Greetings of the day.

    1. We read very disturbing news in TOI and Hindustaan (HT - Hindi) that Ranks and Files who have taken VRS / Premature retirement / Not completed Terms of Engagement will not get OROP.

    2. Sir, by this method Thousands of persons of Army , Air Force and NAvy will be out of sphere of OROP. It is requested to convey the message to GEn. Satbir Sir that this condition of GOI should not be accepted as in our services no one was given VRS with a Golden Hand Shake. If , anyone has asked for it , it was due to compelling conditions of family or parents.

    3. Sir, OROP should be as per Rank and Service period not as per type of retirement. You are requeted to look in o this issue before finalisation and acceptance of this draft as this will lead to harassment of thousand of our mens who will be compelled to go to Courts and wait for years to get justice.

    Regards

    Sgt Surinder Singh (Vet.)
    Sgt Yogesh Sharma (Vet.)

  5. ALL VET BROS

    PLEASE HOLD UR HORSES.

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE VRS IN ARMED FORCES.

IF THEY ARE INCLUDING NOW, IT IS A GOOD SIGN FOR AF PERSONNEL

BECAUSE VRS ENTAILS HUGE COMPWENSATION PACKAGE.

TRUST ME, THERE WILL BE NONE LEFT IN THE FORCES AFTER 15/20 YEARS.

THE COMPENSATION COULD BE AROUND 50-60 LAKHS ALL PUT TOGETHER.

THAT WOULD DO A LOT OF GOOD TO AF VETERANS

SO, SO...PLEASE DO NOT WORRY AT ALL

WAIT FOR THE ACTUAL ORDERS TO SEE THE FINE PRINT.

    THANKS

    Dear Sirs,

There is huge chaos among JCO/ORs regarding this table indicated in your letter no. 1(04)/2015(II)-D(Pen/Pol) dated 3rd Sep'15 related to revision of pension of pre-2006 JCO/ORs.

In para 2(third line), it says that "it has been decided that with effect from 1.1.06, pension / family pension shall be determined as fifty and thirty percent respectively of minimum of fitment table". But in the table, pension has been reduced pro-rata linking to 33yrs service.

We are getting lot of phone calls and emails from veterans regarding this clarification. I kindly request you to issue a line of statement clarifying the doubts. We will convey the same to veterans on your behalf.
An early reply is requested on the subject.

    Regards
    SK Singh

  17. Sir, we want good judges to be appointed for one man judicial commission and they should be drafted from good judges community. we do not want any more bad judgments. further the appoint should be made in public consensus and approval from the veterans community.

  19. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday sought Parliament nod for additional spend of Rs. 56,256 crore.

This additional spend, which formed part of second batch of supplementary demand for grants, included cash outgo of Rs. 18,195 crore.

The main spend involving cash outgo are Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana ( Rs. 3,000 crore), defence pensions ( Rs. 5,735 crore) and Swachch Bharat Abhiyan ( Rs. 2,155 crore). Meanwhile, on the technical side, as much as Rs. 10,000 crore has been allocated to the Food Corporation of India to meet the cash flow requirements for procurement of foodgrains for targeted public distribution system.

Jaitley also sought Parliament nod for demand for excess grants amounting to Rs. 4,921 crore for year 2012-13.

Various house panel reports have from time to time criticised the government for resorting to excess demand of grants in respect of previous years.

This government is also resorting to such steps (seeking Parliamentary nod for spend in respect of past years).
