DETAILS OF THE DISCUSSION WITH DESW

 DEAR VETERANS,
To day AFVAI delegation met Joint secretary ESW. The delegation was led by the chairman of AFVAI , Mr GS Sidhu  and accompanied by Gen Sec Mr SK singh and two members Mr BS Kalra and Diwan singh. we conveyed our concern to JS ESW with proper details concerning cir 547 and its related issues. we conveyed to her that the pension shown in cir 547 are different from the pension figures on 01.07.2009and 24.09.2012 which should have been applied. Mr Sk Singh submitted relevant court orders or decisions to show that 50% of Min fit tables would have been pension of PBOR. She could counter it  citing some AFT orders & added that if DOPPW issued such letters , they will comply to it.

Then we raised the point that our pension is less than Enhanced rate of family pension which 50%of Min fit tables which is correct but our pension is short fixed. Upon which joint secretary made a call to CGDA representative and some MR Malviya came at 2 PM and had meeting with us. we found that he was not able to respond to our queries properly and the queries we raised can properly be understood by going through the clarification that we submitted to the JS ESW .
The meeting lasted for more than 2 hours and we succeeded in submitting our effective representation to her for perusal for written answer to us.Our chairman Mr GS Sidhu and MR Kalra using their matured experience requested Madam that our welfare is the responsibility of her deptt and must look into that sincerely. the discussion lasted for more than 2 hours. But we succeeded to put to their notice the anomalies mentioned in the attachment centering around cir 547 and short fixation of our pension.
