'1:2200000 RATIO"- WILL DELINKING OF 33 YEARS, BENEFIT THE PRE-2006 ESM WHO HAVE RENDERED LESS THAN 20 YEARS SERVICE?

  1. Very deep and fantastic analysis of surfacing the fact and projection to readers in a very very simple language so that a primary school student also do understand. Congrats. My doubt is the GOVT disburse the benefits of this kind in placement. Arrears to pre 2006 pensioners contained only proportionate in tables of circular 547. Now the GOVT may issue circulars for 50% minimum of pay and grade pay to all PBOR of PRE 2006 pensioners including the ones having below 20 years. The PDA particularly the bankers hardly understands the circulars and the concerned pensions need to struggle with to get the dues. Many a pensioner are yet to get the arrears under circular 547. My regard with full appreciation for the presentation of the article.

  3. Very Good Analysis by the Karnataka chapter. Let's hope the Govt comes to its senses and hopes are more on PM Modi and Unity amongst POTO associations. Efforts must be made to make a Feberation of All such associations and best talented ones be choosen to Lead it with a Panel of 21 creams from Ex-Servicemen, with their Bio Data flashed on Federation of POTO for information of all concerned members, and genuine transparency. Mind you we have very experienced and Intelligent Ex-Servicemen who have achieved greater heights in their Careers after leaving Armed Forces.

Wish you all good luck and success in all its endeavours.

  4. IESM is boosting that they are fighting for One Rank One Pension for jawans welfare. Initially we also believed this and joined together with them. But after two months we came to know that we are getting cheated once again. VERY TRUE.

If at all they are fighting for the sake of jawans then in that case,

Q1. Why they have not raised this voice while in service? GOOD QUESTION BUT WHEN IN POWER THEY SIMPLY DRINK WHISKY AND ROAR LIKE A DUMMY LOIN and THERE IS NO REMEDY UNDER ARMY/NAVY/AIRFORCE ACTS for going against the CHIEFS betrayal of Jawans Interests.

Q2. Why are they not asking for Restoration of 75% pension instead of OROP? 75% PENSION WAS KEPT WITH A VIEW ON LOW SCALES OF JAWANS, SO THAT THEY COULD BE PAID A REASONABLE AMOUNT TO MAKE A HONORABLE LIVING AFTER RETIREMENT. BESIDES THIS ANOMALY MANY PAY COMMISSIONS KEPT REDUCING THE MULTIPLICATION FACTORS FOR JAWANS PAY SCALES AND INCREASED THE GAP BETWEEN THE CHIEF'S SALARY AND LOWEST JAWAN'S SALARY, RATIO BECAME LARGER AND LARGER WITH EACH CPC REPORTS.

Q3. Why are they not asking Equal MSP and High Altitude allowance? BECAUSE THEY FEEL THEIR LIVES ARE MORE WORTH TO THEIR KITH AND KINS AND JAWANS LIVES ARE NOT WORTH ANY THING.

Q4. Why are they not raising point of delinking of 33 years for men? BECAUSE THEY WANT POLITICIANS TO CHEAT JAWANS AND EAT THE MALAI IN OTHER PROJECTS.

Q5. Why did they not ask Pre 2006 arrears policy has to be the same like them? Here also the answer is same because they are not benefitted because of the above. That is why they have taken this issue of OROP which is going to be beneficial only for them. BECAUSE VERY FEW OF THEM ARE ALIVE TODAY, MANY HAVE GONE TO GRAVE AFTER DRINKING WHISKY.

Is it fair to blame them only? Are we also equally not responsible for this? Our strength is around 96% which is roughly around 20 lakh veterans and widows. But do we have any strong association to fight our own cause? The answer is NO. There are so many associations doing very well within the district levels and state levels. But in Central level we do not have any sincere association which can boldly take up the matters directly. Why is it so? Let me explain. Why we could not form an association for POTOs having this much strength. The reason for this is as follows:

    1. We are self centered and parasites. VERY TRUE, WE LIVE IN SELF CREATED FALSE EGOS, AND DO NOT TRY TO HELP OTHER TALENTED EXSM WHEN IN GOOD POSTS.

    2. False Ego and selfishness. VERY TRUE, INSTEAD OF COMPARING A RETIREE SETTLED WITH 10-20 YRS IN CIVIL ORGANISATIONS, OUR EXSM BROTHERS START COMPARING WITH THEIR OLD FRIENDS WHO MUST HAVE DONE HARD WORK TO REACH TO THAT LEVEL, AND WHICH NEEDS TO BE REPLICATED BY THEM TOO, TO SHOW A BETTER FACE OF THE EXSM SOCIETY.

    3. Family back grounds and financial stress. COULD BE TRUE IN FEW CASES, BUT MORE IS FALSE EGO AND NATURE OF COMPARING PAST RANKS.

    4. Lack of knowledge and awareness. TRUE AND THEY OUGHT TO BE TRAINED BY EXSM ASSOCIATIONS IN THEIR LAST LEG OF THEIR SERVIE IN RELEASE CENTRES, 2-4 HRS LECTURES WOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO PREPARE THEM FOR THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVOURS AND PRICKING THEIR FALSE EGOS. IN MY OPINION THOSE JAWANS WHO HAVE DECIDED TO LEAVE ARMY/ NAVY/ AIRFORCE AFTER 15-20 YEARS NEED TO BE GUIDED 5 YEARS PRIOR TO THEIR LEAVING, AND EX SM ASSOCIATIONS MUST GIVE THEM A 2 DAY TRAINING LECTURES.

MY SUGGESTION IS WHY NOT ALL POTO EXSM ASSOCIATIONS FORM A FEDERATION OF THEIR OWN, WITH A 20-51 MEMBER (CREAM OF PEOPLE FROM POTO COMMUNITY), ACHIEVED HIGH POSITIONS IN THEIR LATER CAREER AFTER LEAVING ARMED FORCES.
